Why We Gather
In a culture that fragments and isolates us, coming together intentionally is itself regenerative. Gatherings weave networks across our differences and create space for emergence, for whatever wants to be born through us coming together. They let us practice the principles we’re learning and build our collective capacity for transformation.
Regenerative culture needs exchange between generations. Elders share wisdom and perspective. Youth bring fresh vision and energy. Children remind us to play, wonder, and create.
Place-Based Practice
Every gathering is a chance to deepen our relationship with our bioregion. We meet in places that teach us about local ecosystems, learn from the land itself, and practice bioregional design in how we actually gather.
RTB’s last event experimented with value-for-value economics, using “pay what you can” models that prioritize access and relationship over extraction. This is regeneration in action. What if our economic exchanges enhanced life instead of commodifying it?
